Aironet 1142 - Default Gateway Issue

Hi

I have a LAN network of 10.255.0.0 as the range.

With our Aironet we wanted to set DHCP pool on it of 192.168.17.0 so that network wouldn't affect the 10.255.0.0 network.

What I need to know is if it is possible to set a DHCP pool so that laptops get a 192.168.17.0 address but that their internet traffic is then routed through 10.255.251.218 in the background?

Also how do you stop the Aironet assigning ip's from the main LAN DHCP server and start using its own pool? I have created a pool but my laptops are still picking up the 10.255.x.x address

Thanks in advance!

Re: Aironet 1142 - Default Gateway Issue

>> Configue interface vlan for 192.168.17.X

>> Configure a pool for this on the switch.

>> On the 1142 AP, map the SSID with this VLAN and also on the DOT11 radio. we will get the IP for the clients in 192 subnet and if the backend is configured correctly ,then we can browse to the internet.
