Aironet 1200 AP monitoring Question

We have a number of autonomous 1200 series APs running 12.3(8)JEA1 IOS. What I want to know is how, or can I, monitor the number of users and the data rates being used on each AP w/out a controller? We have Cacti and were curious if this information could either be logged by the syslog server or gathererd via SNMP or by Cacti itself.

you can use "show dot11 associations all-client" to displays all client devices associated with the access point.

You can also download Cisco AP's MIB, and integrated to some self developed SNMP based NMS.
