Hello,
For an Aironet 1242 who's no more covered with a SMARTnet contract.
Symptoms are the same whatever power-injector, power supply or via PoE switch.
Just one led.
A permanent red led (light red) on the status, nothing else.
No reaction on the console port.
Is that device dead ?

With symptoms looks like device is dead and needs to be replaced.
