Aironet 1252 Boot Error

Hi Guys,

I need a help with an Aironet 1252 which is failing on boot. When power on the access-point shows the error below.

WARNING: A memory error occurred during the system start-up

self-test.  The device must be serviced if the error persists.

The following commands can, optionally, be used to initialize

the flash file system and the TFTP file transfer system:

But when this happen, I can start the IOS manually doing flash_init and boot in ROMMON. After do this commands, the access-point starts and works normally.

How can I check and correct the memory and solve this issue? Anyone had an idea?

I'd you keep failing the POST I'd RMA the AP

Hi,

Yes, it looks like you will need to have the unit RMAd, if you like you could try the mode button procedure to reload the IOS to the AP and reset the AP to defaults as a last option.
