Do both the Aironet 1252 & WLC Module for ISR Routers support HREAP ???
06-02-2008 03:51 AM
The WLCM & WLCM-E for the ISR do not support the below:-
- Servie Port
- 1000Base-T modules
- VPN Termination
- QoS per-user bandwidth contract
- Layer 2 LWAPP
- Spanning Tree
- Port Mirroring
- AppleTalk
- Layer 3 security polocies not supported - for VPN termination
Everything else a 44xx can do, the WLCM & WLCM-E can.

Hi
I have search that site already looking to see if the 1252 support HREAP without luck, do you know if they do support it?

As far as I would imagine - it should support it, as longs as it's LWAPP and not autonomous. The only difference I can see on the 1252 is the N radio. However you could ask your cisco reseller to confirm?

Hi Mark,
Here is a note to add to the great help from Scott and Andrew. These are the latest H-REAP requirements;
Requirements
H-REAP is only supported on the 1130AG, 1240AG and **1250 access points and on the Cisco 2000, 2100 and 4400 Series Unified Controllers, the Catalyst 3750G Integrated Wireless LAN Controller Switch, the Cisco WiSM, and the **Controller Network Module for Integrated Services Routers.
From this excellent doc;
H-Reap Design and Deployment Guide

Hope this helps!
