I am trying to connect a pc to our LAN, which is across the street from our main office. I have setup 1 Aironet 350 as a root access point and the other as a repeater, each has an antenna. I have radio activity between the 2 access points but cannot seem to get an ip address for the client pc. Do I have to use a wireless card on the remote pc? I assumed I could connect the repeater to the pc's lan card?

No. you need the Wireless card..Because Repeater Access point will have its ethernet port disabled..So you can't connect the wired LAN at Repeater AP to the wired LAN at Root AP. Only wireless clients associated with root AP and repeater AP will be able to connect with eachother..But not the wired LAN cleints..
