Anchor Controller Redundancy in Mixed WLC Environment

I have an unusual setup. We recently acquired two Cisco 5500 WLC to be our new Guest Wireless Anchor Controllers. I want to take advantage of Anchor Controller Redundancy with these new WLC that will sit in our DMZ. However, all my other Enterprise Controllers are 4400 Series WLC running version 7.0.240.0. However, I don’t believe the 4400 Series WLC support version 7.2 or 7.3. Is there still a way for me to utilize Anchor Controller Redundancy? If so, what would be the best way to do this?

It should work. Here is a matrix of the various WLC mobility matrix.
