Hi all. Have a question. Can I put two antennas in different rooms using a single access point?

No you can not do that. You need to keep the antennas not more than 3 wavelength away from each other. If having the AP and antenna in one room doesn't cover the other room, then you need to add another AP to that other room.

ok, and if it is the free space, which distance may be between antennas using a single access point?

Measure the distance between the antenna ports on the AP itself.... now multiple that by 3 and you can't have antennas separated more than that.  You need to understand diversity and how that works to really understand why you can't do what you want to do.  You will end up having poor performance and user complaints and eventually will have to add another AP.

Can you give an example. Do I understand correctly, the wavelength of 2.4 GHz = 12.5 cm. => If we place the antennas not more than 3 wavelength away from each other: 3*12.5 = 37.5 cm. True or not?

That is correct... you also have to calculate the 5ghz if your using dual band antennas.  Remember.... this only is used when using external antennas to give you a separation distance between antennas.  This does not mean that you can place an AP in separate rooms if the rooms are closed off from one another.
