Hi,

I would like to reduce the output signal from a group of APs connected to a 2504 controller. Is there a way to do this from the controller, or would I used the local power command on each AP to accomplish this or is there another way to get this done?

Thanks.

You can do that from WLC GUI:

Wireless -> Access Point -> Radios -> 802.11a/n (or b/g/n).

Hold the mouse over the blue square on the right of the AP and from the sub-menu that appears press (configure).

From there you can change the power and/or the channel.

Hello ,

As per your query I can suggest you the following solution –

You need to go as Wireless -> Access Point -> Radios -> 802.11a/n (or b/g/n).Then you can use the local power command on each AP to accomplish this.

Hope this will help you
