ap1100 dhcp

I have four APs and one of them working DHCP Server. Sometimes wired client get ip address ftom DHCP ap. I want to get ip address only wireless client. Is there any good solution blocking pass DHCP packets in the ethernet port?

The switch connected AP is not support ACL.

Re: ap1100 dhcp

Hi,

I am making the assumption here that your wired and wireless clients are in the same VLAN.

Questions.

1. what is the network & mask for wireless?

2. what is the network & mask for wired?

3. are the BVI interfaces all in the same subnet?

--> I am assuming this to be as you have four APs and one of them is a DHCP server.

If you have the ability to have a centrally located DHCP server that will save you quite a bit of network administration...just define an ip-helper address at the BVI interface.

HTH,
