ap1130 with wlc or not?

Is there a cli command to check whether the AP1130 is connected via a wlc ?

The cli shows the ssid's and interfaces etc. but via the webgui there are no ssids listed and it says that both radio's are up, but line protocol is down (while the current ssid's are still broadcasted)

I suspect the gui is corrupted, what may be fixed by a reboot, but currently a lot of users are connected.

I have this in CLI

dot11 ssid wifi-Gasten

   vlan 20

   authentication open

   authentication key-management wpa

   mbssid guest-mode

   wpa-psk ascii 7 0114140BE455030420420F

The ssid needs to be changed to Gasten but when I do this via CLI, the network doesn't show up anymore in the wireless networks list.

Anyone an idea?

ap1130 with wlc or not?

Hi Ralph,

It is a Autonomous AP:

For verification , You can check with sh version command:

k9w7 - autonomous  IOS

k9w8 - full lightweight IOS (this is what is bundled in the WLC .aes image)

Paste the whole config:

Hall of Fame Super Silver

Re: ap1130 with wlc or not?

If the AP is in lightweight mode, there is no web UI and you can't change the SSID from the CLI.

To verify what WLC that AP is connected to, depending in what code the AP has on it:

show lwapp client rcb
show capwap client rcb

You would need to change the SSID from the WLC that AP is joined to.
