I have an AP340 running VxWorks 12.04. If I navigate to the 'Manage Installation Keys' page (Setup, Cisco Services, Manage Installation Keys). It shows the device type as AP4800-E. Is this a known problem or is it a dud?
You may have lost your installation key. If the Cisco logo is gone and there is an Aironet logo instead, then the installation key is missing and you will have to either return the device to Cisco for an RMA or you will have to possibly purchase a new access point. Look at this Field Notice to see if these are the symptoms you see http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/770/fn15790.shtml
