Bridge can at the same time work like Bridge (Root) and Point Access (Root) ?

A Bridge (Root) can be associate to a Point Access (No-Root) ?

Re: Association Aironet Product

No...Bridge will work in one role at a time..Either Bridge or AP or etc..

Bridge will not be able to associate with Access Point..But will be able to associate with "A Bridge running as Access Point" mode.

Here is the url for association matrix for cisco Aironet equipment for your reference

Re: Association Aironet Product

A consultation, in the matrix not this the following thing:

I have understood that a Bridge in way (Root) can be associated to a Point Access in way (No-Root), if I observe matrix does not say that a Bridge in Root way can be asosciar to a Point Access in No-Root way, that is my doubt on matrix !!!!!

Re: Association Aironet Product

To straing things up let me clarify

A bridge will associate with a bridge (As Access Point, Bridge as non-root)

A bridge will not be able to associate with stand alone access point.(which is not a bridge working as access point).
