Hi,

is it possible to configure auonomous APs to allow clients to roam between them?

yes, this is totally possible.

if you are using a PSK, then all you need to do is configure the AP exactly the same way, with the exception of the IP address on the BVI interface.

if you are using 802.1x, then you would want to configure WDS for the key caching.

This can be done with any Cisco IOS AP. 

As for the WDS, yes, the "WDS Master" is what does all the authenticaiton, and holds the keys for the clients in the network.

I'm assuming this can be done with the 35021 APS with the Autonomous software?

After looking at the doc quickly - essentially, one AP does all the forwarding for the authentication?

This can be done with any Cisco IOS AP.

I'm assuming this can be done with the 35021 APS with the Autonomous software?

Just be careful.

3500 running autonomous IOS is not supported by Cisco TAC.
