Autonomous To Lightweight Mode Upgrade

I use the upgrade tool and upgrade couple of my Autonomous AP's. Upgrade completed successfull. When I check the WLC, these AP's are downloading the new image. Looks like after downloading, they reboot and never report back to WLC.

Any idea why?

thanks,

Re: Autonomous To Lightweight Mode Upgrade

Hi Primesh,

There are some good solutions in these two docs;

Self-Signed Certificate Manual Addition to the Controller for LWAPP-Converted APs

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6366/products_configuration_example09186a00806a426c.shtml

LWAPP Upgrade Tool Troubleshoot Tips

Hope this helps!

Try to console to the ap and set the controller ip address through the CLI.

Re: Autonomous To Lightweight Mode Upgrade

Console into one of the ap's that you upgraded and see what error shows up when the ap tries to join the wlc. This can help pinpoint what is the real issue.
