Bridge to bridge/AP design

Hi,

I need to setup a wireless link to a new building that has no wired LAN. Therefore, I assume that I need two bridges? Can the bridge in the new building also act as an AP for 24 wireless clients, or do I need another AP to serve the wireless clients?

Also, is the 350 series the only option for a bridge, or do the newer 1100/1200 series also support this function. I should add that they only require 11Mbps.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards,

Chris

Re: Bridge to bridge/AP design

Run the root bridge to your wired LAN in AP mode and the bridge on the other side as a Non-root Bridge without clients. This will allow the bridge and your wireless clients to connect to the root AP.

At this time I do not belive that Cisco has a 1100/1200 bridge.
