Can I add a Controller to 1142 standalone AP environment

Hi,

I am planning for a school environment where there are currently less than 20 wireless devices.

Is there any issue deploying 1142 standalone AP's now, then add a controller in the next couple of years as the number of wireless devices increases.

I assume that a standalone 1142 AP, will convert over to lightweight functionality when a controller is added?

Hey Matt,

This would a highly supported and desired deployment model

The 1142's can be converted to LWAPP when you purchase the

new WLC.
