can't ping bvi1 from connected switch

First time configuring Cisco AP. I have a 1130AG. I configured 2 VLANs (according to Doc ID 69773) and setup IP address on bvi1 port. I can get on a web portal using a cross-over cable connecting a laptop to the AP. However, when I configure a trunk port on the switch, add the 2 VLANS the VTP server and connect the AP to it, I can't connect to the AP. Yet, 'sh cdp nei' displays that the AP is connected.

What am I doing wrong?

Appreciate the help,

Douglas
