Can WLC 4400 Series support AP 1000 Series

Hi,

I would like to know whether WCL 4400 Series support AP 1000 Series?

By referring to the Q@A on AP 1000 Series, the statement below clearly stated,

Q. Which wireless LAN controllers support 1000 Series lightweight access points?

A. Cisco Systems currently offers Cisco 2000 Series and 4100 Series wireless LAN controllers, which work in conjunction with the 1000 Series lightweight access points.

So I presume, WLC 4400 Series cannot support AP 1000 Series, however I could not locate WCL 4100 Series from Cisco Pricelist.

Please advise.

The 4100 controller was replaced by the 4400 controller the 1000 ap should work with any cisco controller.

AP1000 is supported by ALL WLAN controller platforms, from 2006 to WiSM, ISR module, etc.
