Cannot ping to Hostname by wireless Cisco 2504 WLC

Dear Expert,

I have Wireless controller with Cisco 2504 WLC for manage wireless AP Aeronet 2700.

I have problem with ping to hostname, If ping by IP address can reply but ping to hostname cannot and appear like below:

Below my network diagram; 

There is something missing?

Moved your post to the appropriate forum.  Do you have a DNS record for your WLC hostname that points to the IP address of the controller?  If an nslookup from the client device doesn't resolve the hostname to ip, that would be your issue.

Yes, from a wireless client, post the output from an IPCONFIG /ALL;  and also from a wired client that is working properly.  It's possible the DNS and WINS entries are different.

It's also possible that wired clients are resolving names from subnet broadcasts, which the wireless clients wouldn't be able to take advantage of.  DNS registration (whether manual or done on a Windows AD server) would resolve for both wired and wireless, if they both point to the correct DNS server.

What happens if you use the full FQDN instead of just nas1?  What happens if you create a test SSID and map that to the wired vlan?
