Obtaining an Upgrade or Capacity Adder License
If you have multiple controllers and want to upgrade all of them, you can order multiple quantities of each upgrade license in one transaction (for example, you can order 10 each of the -25U, -50U, -100U, and -250 upgrade licenses), for which you receive one PAK with one license. You can continue to register the PAK for multiple controllers until it is exhausted.

Does this mean I can order 1 250 Adder licenses and distribute it amongst 3 controllers (100 - 100-50)?

No. This means you can order multiples of a license in a single transaction. Meaning when you receive your PAKs they will appear in a multipage pdf instead of multiple PDFs.

You still need to order the right qty of adder licenses for each controller. It just changes how you register each license.

For different controller the license will be required for each separately as required according to the location ap is to installed.
