I have a couple 1200 series that I want to figure out how to manage remotely. I could go an plug in a cable but I just really want to know the order of steps to follow.
I need to change an existing vlan on the devices from XX to YY then change the BVI so its also in YY. The problem I have is they are POE so when I change the BVI I lose power and they reboot with original settings.
I thought the process would be;
- change BVI ip address so its in the new VLAN YY
- change sub interfaces to match
- change native vlan on the core to match
The device shuts down and reboots before I can finish it. Any tips?

This is the start of a display filter cross reference between Wireshark and OmniPeek.
The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.
