How do you change the date and time in a Cisco 1240 AP?

Hi,

the command is (entered in privilege exec mode):

clock set

or

clock set

You can also have it sync with an NTP time server with

sntp

or older IOS versions

ntp

remember that the AP does not retain the time through a power off/on cycle, for the AP to have the correct time without having to set it after each power on is to use the SNTP or NTP option to retrieve the current time from a time server.
