Cisco 3700 Access Point installation at Laboratory

Hi All,

I'm working on a project for a Laboratory, where we will be installing Access Points.

There are some Labs in the building, where the environment is controlled strictly.

Any recommendation on guide lines that should be followed while mounting Access Points in such locations?

Thanks,

CJ

Please refer the following

Please refer the following link as a deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/technology/apdeploy/7-6/Cisco_Aironet_3700AP.html#pgfId-86265

It doesn't tell particularly about the lab environment as you described above, but could help.

Also, as you'll be using ISM band, which is a free band, so I don't see any problem mounting it within your lab. I would suggest you to keep the Channel Selection on Auto Mode, so that it doesn't interfere with other channels around you.

Hope that helps.
