You don't have enough information for is to help. You have to know if its just a single ap, all AP's, the WLC going down, network connectivity issue. AP's that can't find the WLC will blink red or multiple colors. That is normal and might be a network issue.

Hi, my actual issue is the Cisco 4402 WLC freezes some time and all AP's going down. Two connection in the fornt of WLC, one to core switch showing link and activity LEDs, the other is to the DMZ switch and the activity LED is  not flashing. We checked and found that network is fine and the connection to the router is also fine. Recently updated the software with 7.0.240.0. Not sure whether it might be a hardware issue. If so how wil i be able to diagnoise???

Hello,

As per your query i can suggest you the following solution-

Solid red indicates an under voltage condition detected on one of the DC/DC converters. Off indicates normal operation. This LED behavior may also be defined by the controller software.

Solid white indicates normal operation. Solid red indicates a fault.

Hope this will help you
