Cisco 5500 controller crash

Hi,

I have a cisco controller 5500. This controller got rebooted all of a sudden.

As per the crash logs, i notice the reason behind this is  Reaper Reset and task name is wips Task.. Below is the crash logs i have provided. Could you please let me know if you have the reson why it happened and a work around for this?

IIRC:A Reaper Reset happens

IIRC:

A Reaper Reset happens when the Task doesn't check in and appears to be hung.

 

I did a quick defect search but didn't come up with anything, so it may be worth either upgrading to the latest 7.0 or maybe 7.6 mr3, and the latest FUS image and see if the issue reoccurs.

Hi Abhinay,If the WLC crashes

Hi Abhinay,

If the WLC crashes, there will be Bug for sure. Kindly provide me the complete crash logs to update you if there is any known Bug.
