Cisco AIR-AP1242AG-A-K9 Vs AIR-LAP1131AG-N-K9 Which AP is best
Depends on what you are using and what you want them for.
Like Steve's post, the 1130 has internal antenna and is designed to be "pleasing to the eye" when deployed in an office environment. The 1240 is a WAP that requires optional external antennas. It's designed in "challenging" places such as warehouse, theatres, etc.
Be warned that both the 1130 and 1240 are the 2nd generation of WAPs. They will NOT support of 802.11n. The cheapest 802.11n WAP is the 1040.
