Hello good people. I have recently bought Cisco AIR CAP3502I E K9 but i am seeing that it can only work with WLAN controller. How can I make it work as a stand alone.

Your help will be appreciated.

You can use the 1260 autonomous code if you want. Just remember, this isn't supported by Cisco but it will work.

Team confirm that after this conversion to standalone it can pass traffic. I have read some text which say it cannot pass traffic.

Where did you read that? You should have no issue since the 3502 radios are the same as the 1260. You just won't have the full feature of the 3502.

I am still having troubles with this issue.

Scott kindly resend the image again as it should be uploaded.

Another challenges is setting the ip address go g0 interface. Even though i do that manually dhcp continues to discard the manual n gets smthing from my dhcp since it will continously look for WController.

How do i sort this out.

I have also failed to access the GUI thru the private ip add
