Cisco AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9 autonomous (Disable DHCP Ethernet)

Hello,

I configured a dhcp server on an aironet 1042, works ok but I want that listen only on wireless interface. When I connect a PC with LAN, it takes dhcp adreess

Cisco AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9 autonomous (Disable DHCP Ethernet)

DHCP is broadcasted, so any client that is in the same VLAN as the server can get an address.

If you only want the AP to serve wireless clients, you would need to add a second VLAN for the wireless users, so that they are not all on the same subnet.

Thanks Stephen, but is the first time that I configure an aironet. How can I configure a VLAN in the aironet?

The AP is connected to a switch HP Procurve.
