Cisco Aironet 1200

Hi All,

I have this Cisco Aironet 1200 running IOS version 12.3(7)JX9 Release Software (fc1).

After resetting the module I could connect via the console cable.  I type enable and access is granted to privileged mode.  No problem with that.  However there is no "config t" for configuring the device.

The IOS image as named in the flash is c1200-rcvk9w8-mx.

You help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Cisco Aironet 1200

Hi,

The AP is running the LWAPP image.. to access the config terminal the AP should be using the Autonomous image (W7).

To over this issue.. please convert the AP to Autonomous..

1>> Download the IOS image from the cisco.com

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=277026213&flowid=7580&softwareid=280805680

2>> Point the image correctly on the TFTP server and issue the command..

archive download-sw /force-reload /overwrite tftp:// /

Ex

AP# archive download-sw /force-reload /overwrite tftp://10.0.0.4/c1200-k9w7-tar.123-8.JED1.tar
