Cisco Aironet 1250

We have already in place 1 X Cisco Aironet 1250. We are thinking of purchasing additional 4.

Please confirm if the Cisco Aironet 1250 can be connected all together (bridge) so that if a person is on Cisco Aironet 1250 access point 1 and moves to different part of the building (Cisco Aironet 1250 access point 2), will it lose connection etc?.

Re: Cisco Aironet 1250

Depends on how well the client roams from one ap to another. If you have adequate signal strenghts during roaming then users will not lose connection. Another part of this is what type of encryption you use. If you are using encryption, then setting up a WDS will help.

Get a WLC2106 and convert the 1252 to LWAPP and you will have no issues with clients roaming as long as signal strength is okay between ap's.
