Cisco Aironet 802.11 a/b/g Wireless Adapter ....need to be updated....

I have a Cisco Aironet 802.11 a/b/g Wireless Adapter that appears to have stopped working.   When I plug it in, it doesn't appear to be working and it slows down/freezes whatever I have open on my computer......I do not have the internet and need to use WiFi for internet access....The driver is intalled;;

Driver Provider: Microsofft

Driver Date: 07/01/01

Driver Version: 5.1.2600.0

Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Publisher

and the driver files are located:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\pcmcia.sys

I do not know if the driver needs to be updated to the latest version...REMEMBER THAT I DO NOT HAVE THE INTERNET SO....How can I update the driver without having an internet connection.   Is there another way besides connecting my computer to another computer to download the latest drivers...

Please help

1.  If you don't have internet, how did you manage to post?

2.  What card are we talking about?  Do you have a model number?

3.  What is the OS?

4.  Does the client have USB slot?  CD drive?

Cisco PCMCIA Aironet 802.11 a/b/g Wireless Adapter

I have no idea whether you have a 350 or the CB21AG so here are the download links (for Windows XP) for both:

Cisco Aironet 350 Mini-PCI Wireless LAN Client Adapter
http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/pub/ReleaseType.x?optPlat=Windows+XP&isPlatform=Y&mdfid=279979447&sftType=Aironet+Client+Installation+Wizard+%28Firmware%2C+Driver%2C+Utility%29&treeName=Wireless&modelName=Cisco+Aironet+350+Mini-PCI+Wireless+...

Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g CardBus Wireless LAN Client Adapter (CB21AG)
http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/pub/ReleaseType.x?optPlat=Windows+XP&isPlatform=Y&mdfid=278853375&sftType=Aironet+Client+Installation+Wizard+%28Firmware%2C+Driver%2C+Utility%29&treeName=Wireless&modelName=Cisco+Aironet+802.11a%2Fb%2Fg+CardBu...

When you run the installation, make sure the card is EJECTED and insert it only when instructed.

Hope this helps.
