Cisco Airspace 4100 & Microsoft Active Directory

Question of the Day:

Can the Cisco 4100 Controller (airspace)

interact with Microsoft Active Directory directly or is an ACS server required ?

thanks

Hi

I don't think the controllers will access AD directly, however Windows has a radius service (named Internet Authentication Services) that you can install on a Windows box.

You can then use this service.

It depends a lot on what you want to do - i.e. Windows IAS won't do LEAP, but can do PEAP/EAP-TLS for example.
