I use the Cisco AP 350 as a repeater of my friends 3Com 8000 AP. My AP is assigned an IP address from his DHCP server and I can get out to the internet and see his side of the network. The problem is, he cannot see or even ping my access point or see the Web interface from his side. I've disabled the security features and even added the MAC addresses where appropriate but there must be something that I am missing. My Cisco AP does not have a problem grabbing IP's from his DHCP for additional clients and I can even leap over to his AP seamlessly, but once I cross over to his AP, I keep my internet connection but I cannot see my AP anymore. Interoperability issue? Please help.
