Cisco C866VAE-W-E-K9 and AP

Hello,

I have this model C866VAE-W-E-K9 see detail [1.], [2.].

I found a very nice article on setting up multi SSID AP see this link [3.]. However, when I connect the AP built in my router [5.] I can not use basic commands like "show ver", "show log" and so on. Is this normal for this model? I thought that this is a standard AP, which is connected by gigabit Ethernet "Wlan-GigabitEthernet0" and rest of all is similar like Aironets AP (1600). Can I uprade IOS AP? Unfortunately there is no command  like "archive dovnload-sw". So, I can not use "no" command to clear default settings and the question is how can I erase default configuration of AP? Everything what can I do on AP see [4.]

Thank you for your response and help.

Karel

    Hi Karel, I really appreciate

    Hi Karel,

I really appreciate your patience in posting the query. Yes, there is a command to delete the configuration using "no" followed by the configuration line.

However, most of the commands with 'no' will not be completed automatically and you may end up in typing the complete command to delete them.

here is the deployment and configuration guide for your 860 integrated router.

    https://supportforums.cisco.com/sites/default/files/attachments/discussion/scg880-860.pdf

If you go through the documentation for wireless configuration, you can see commands like with "no" to delete the configuration.

    Regards

    Salma
