Cisco Controller 5508 + AIR 1552S + WinServer 2012 + Radius

First, have a noen with full happy

Now, I have a case study to deploy university with requirment is below

+ Use Controller 5508 to manage a large AP outdoor AIR 1552S

+ System install a Activer Directory on win server 2012 then setup Radius server on it

+ When user connect to WiFi will use account on AD over Radius

I dont have more expereince about:

+ Config Controller to manage AP

+ setup controller communicate with Radius Server and get database about account on AD

Please hepl me slove this

Take a look at this link... It should be able to walk you through what you need to do. I would suggest that AD is its own server separate from NPS (Microsoft Radius). You will also need to bring up a CA server too.

Here you go. It's best to stage/prime them before mounting. Place the AP's on the same vlan as the management of the WLC and let it join and download new code and then configure the RAP and MAP. You will need a power injectors or AC power cord to power up the radios. If you use PoE switch, the radios will not power up.

i have ever config controller 2504 and see more trouble when AP joint controller

With controller 5508 and outdoot 1552s is the first.

you can share link or document config this controller and AP outdoor

In my case, all AP use mode root but not use Mesh.

i try find a case config between controller 5508 witch AP 1552S on cisco home but not as desire
