Client Exclided shown on WLC 2504 exclude reason "Identity Theft"??

HI,

Client Exclided show in WLC 2504 exclude reason "Identity Theft", not able to understand what this reason means. can anybody  explain

This has shown up in the past and there seems to be no real answer. Could be a bug or duplicate Mac or IP, etc. here are some older post that you can review.

Thanks for Reply, but its about IP theft but in my case its identity theft whether both means same and  any solution for this issue?

There was a cavaets in earlier version of WLC software :

You can check this.

A common cause of the clients being excluded casue of identity theft is, two clients with the same ip address.

but i havnt find same IP address in my DHCP. only one IP address is allocated

  reset that AP can help me or not     

May be reboot the controller helps....but You should take care of downtime if this is in production

Like I mentioned, it doesn't mean it's a duplicate address. Your better off opening a TAC case to get your answer.
