Connecting to the WCS database for advanced reporting

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I am trying to connect to the WCS database using SQL reporting services and I continue to get a connection failed response. I don't know if this is due to a bad user/pass or what. In an effort to troubleshoot this I was trying to connect to the database using the following command

solcon "tcpip localhost 1315"

This command returns: SOLID Server Error 14505: Connect failed, illegal user name or password

I then tried to change the password on the datbase by running the following command

dbadmin.bat password <password>

This command returns the help file.
