Creation of new WLAN with dedicated vlan

Hi all,

We have Cisco 5500 serires wireless controller with Software Version                 7.0.220.0

. Now the requirement is i have to create a new SSID/WLAN which should belong to dedicated VLAN too.

Kindly let me how to acheive this requirement???

will appreciate if someone helps shortly

Salam,

what you need to do is to create a WLAN (GUI: WLAN tab -> create WLAN from the drop down menu).

Then, after you fill the name and the ID for the WLAN the WLAN config page will appear where you can choose the interface for this WLAN.

The interface decides the VLAN of this WLAN.

The Interface needs to be already created before creating the WLAN.

You can create an interface from GUI: controller -> Interfaces (from left pane).

Hi,

Create a new interface under "Controller - Interfaces" and assign this interface to the new WLAN.
