Hello ,
I have few access points setup .I have static ip address assigned to them.But the client adapter are not able to get the ip address from the DHCP server.client cards are not Cisco adapter.
Some times the client cards picks up an ip address .Then if I try to do a renew I don;t get the ip address.
can any one tell me what might be the problem.

May I know what you've setup on the AP? Depending on the card you're using, 128bit WEP doesn't work on all vendor. Also if you turn on any of the advance security feature, TKIP and MIC for example, your non-Cisco NIC will not work.

I will suggest you reinstall the whole driver and any related software on the PC. It seems dhcp client has trouble using the underlying ethernet hardware. Delete the hardware completely and reinstall that. see if this helps.
