Folks,
I have a 4404 controller and a couple of 1240 access points. I want them to register with the controller, can anyone tell me what option 43 would be if I setup DHCP scope on the router. Also, Do i need to specify option 60?
Ip address of controller is 10.10.10.10
should option 43 be 0f040a0a0a0a
Thanks,

Here's an example of the config you need:

On this instructions, it shows a special setting at the DHCP. How does it affect the access clients? How can I assuren the access clients do not get the same ip address of the access points?
Thanks

I did a CBT video on DHCP option 43 with a WIn/2003 server. This may help answer some of your questions.
Specific to option 60, you do no config. OPtion 60 info comes from the LWAPP ap.
