DHCP problems with AP1200

I have installed an AP1200 with an IP obtained through DHCP reservation (MAC address). I have a linux DHCP server serving 30 IP addresses in the same network where the AP is connected.

I am doing some tests with a PC WinXP SP1 wireless client (using a Compaq WL215 USB adapter). When I boot the PC, all works fine. A DHCP discover is sent and the DHCP server serves an IP address. When I remove a few seconds the USB cable from the adapter (to simulate loss of signal) a put it back in the DHCP discover packets are sent again but no IP address is given by the DHCP server. Then, WinXP uses the autoconfiguration IP feature and gives the wireless adapter a 169.x.x.x address. If I reboot the AP1200 and remove/put again the USB cable the DHCP sends a new IP address.

What seems to be problem? AP1200 firmware? Network adapter driver???

Ok. The broadcast WEP key rotation is causing all the trouble. When I deactivate it the DHCP requests started to flow naturally. Hope this can be useful to someone...
