difference between 1240 lwapp AP and new 3500 AP

Hi all

are the new generation of access points much better than the 1240 ap's on my controller?

what benifits in reality do they give ?

I would say yes.... The 3500's are 802.11n supported, plus they have CleanAir technology. Also the 1240's are EOL.

Hey Carl,

Can I confuse you a bit?  Have you seen the newer 3600?

1.  3500 and 3600 both support 802.11n;

2.  3500 and 3600 both support CleanAir;

3.  3500 support 3 x 3 MIMO.  3600 support 4 x 4 MIMO.
