Difference between 6500 series WLSM & 6500 series WiSM.

Hi  , I would like to know the difference between 6500 series WLSM & 6500 series WiSM.

& also let me know, how many controllers will be physically inside the 6500 series WiSM.

can you please give the difference in a clear manner ( bullet points) .

By this 2 links , i was not able to conclude it.

Simple.... WLSM manages autonomous AP's and is end of support and the WiSM manages lightweight access points and can use up to v7.0.x. The WiSM2 is the newer model that can use the latest software which as of right now is v7.4.

As per your query i can suggest you the following solution-

WLSM and WiSM are two completely different architectures, and seamless

mobility between them, if at all possible would probably not be worth the

effort.
