Extending wireless to AP in order to extend network
All I have a design and configuration question in regards to setting up a building that has no wired connections to the network. I have an AP that I would like to setup in there, however, I cannot figure out how to connect that AP in the remote building with the AP in the building connected to the wired LAN. My antennas are setup, but I cannot figure out how to configure this connectivity, to basically extend the network to this building through the wireless connection. Sort of like a point to point connection or bridge extension of the network. We are using LWAPP with WiSM.
Re: Extending wireless to AP in order to extend network
Since you have an lwapp deployment, what you would need to do is setup a point to point bridge to connect the two buildings then you can setup the other LAP in the other building either in local or h-reap mode.

This is the start of a display filter cross reference between Wireshark and OmniPeek.
The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.

The script should be completely self explanatory.
