Hello,
I have a Cisco Aironet AP1231G running software version 12.3(2)JA.
I need to create a guest SSID that has internet only. I don't want users on this SSID to have access to our internal network. I noticed the "Enable IP Redirection on this SSID" option and thought it might solve my problem. However, when I redirect traffic to the gateway, I am unable to browse the internet on that SSID. I am able to ping public addresses, but I'm not able to resolve FQDN's. I even made certain that public DNS servers (in addition to our internal DNS servers) are being assigned to the wireless clients by our DHCP server. Is there an IP filter I could apply to get the internet browsing working? Or, should I be looking at a VLAN solution to get the desired result? Thanks.
