Help Configuring an HWIC AP

I am trying to configure an HWIC-AP on a 2811 router. I keep getting the error “No service-IP config failed” on the 7920. The 7920 is registering with the router but I’m not able to receive an IP address. I’m using CCME on the router. I’m only interested in the bare minimum at this point before I add any security features. Below is the config I am using.

ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.2.1 192.168.2.10

!

ip dhcp pool LAN

network 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0

default-router 192.168.2.1

option 150 ip 192.168.2.1

dot11 phone

dot11 arp-cache

bridge irb

interface Dot11Radio0/3/0

no ip address

no ip route-cache cef

no ip route-cache

!

ssid ldk

authentication open

guest-mode

speed basic-1.0 basic-2.0 basic-5.5 6.0 9.0 basic-11.0 12.0 18.0 24.0 36.0 48.0

54.0

station-role root

bridge-group 1

bridge-group 1 subscriber-loop-control

bridge-group 1 spanning-disabled

bridge-group 1 block-unknown-source

no bridge-group 1 source-learning

no bridge-group 1 unicast-flooding

interface BVI1

ip address dhcp pool LAN

no ip route-cache cef

no ip route-cache

bridge 1 route ip

I am also using switchports and int Vlan1 is 192.168.2.1 /24. When I do a “debug ip dhcp server events” I get “there is no address pool for 0.0.0.0”

This is the first time I have configure the HWIC-AP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help Configuring an HWIC AP

Try to give the BVI1 interface a static address from the LAN pool, say 192.168.2.5.
