I have two 5508’s one is running and supporting all of my 100+ CAPWAP AP’s. But I need to bring up a redundant WLC in my back-up-data center. The two data centers are connected via 10 Gig pipe with a 100 Meg MPLS as backup.
I have one with CT5508-100-K9 and the other with CT508-HA-K9. How do I do the HA since I can’t connect the two WLC together with an Ethernet cable.
I have been looking for a deployment guide that has this config but have not found one.

Because you have an HA SKU you would have to extend the layer 2 vlan to the data center. WLC version 7.5 supports connecting the RP port to a switch previous to 7.5 cisco stated that they should be directly connected. Read the above guide that Leo posted and it will give you more details on "how to" if you can't extend the layer 2 then you will need an non HA-SKU controller.
