inexpensive wireless bridge needed

We have a site that needs to bridge across about 50 feet that is not practical for a wired connection.

Can you guys give me your opinion on what would be a safe inexpensive way to go, because I am not sure.

Would the Cisco 800 series be the way to go?

Are there more options other than Cisco that are a lot cheaper?

Thanks for any input

None of the 800 series will do bridging over the Wireless interface. The Wireless can only function as a root access point. I think it's the same story for the 1800 series as well.

What I did do once however is use a Linksys or Netgear game adapter (under $100) with an 871 on one side to connect to an 871W the other side.
