Inline power option for Aironet 1200

Good Morning to you.

350 series do come with an inline power adapter but not in 1200 series.

There are two ways to power up the Aironet 1200, local power or using Cisco inline power switch.

1) Can I use the 350 series inline power adapter to power up the 1200 series

AP?

2) If I mount the 1200 AP vertically on the wall, how should I align the antenna?

3) I noticed that the client card that supports 802.11a standard is available in the price list. However I do not see the availability of the 802.11a radio module for Cisco 1200 series, when will it be available in APAC?

4) Is there any plan to have inline power adapter for workgroup bridge? I notice that we must have a local power near the location of the work group bridge.

Thanks for your guidance and effort.

Regards,

Delon

Answers to your questions

1)No..We recommend to use dedicated power adaptor for resp. AP's as power requirement is different.

2)Antennas should be always perpendicular to the ground.

3)802.11a radio module for AP1200 is already available to order.

Here it is..Pl.ocate 802.11a radio module for part number

4)No..no plans so far.
